We created the MK012 "Bello Nero" with hypercardioid capsule especially for the DVXuser.com community at the request of our friend Matt Gettemeier (MattinSTL). This configuration proved to be so popular that Oktava introduced their MK012 "Film Edition" in 2007, but it was Matt and The Sound Room that brought it to you first.

This versatile, small diaphragm mic is what many people call "simply the best deal in audio today". Many, many uses in the studio, on stage or on location. Compared favorably to the Neumann and Schoeps mic series, but costing much, much less.
